Donna H. Eldridge passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at the age of 97. She was a graduate of New Trier High School, Winnetka, IL, class of 1939, and attended Northwestern University. She was an active member of the Kenilworth community, attending the Kenilworth Union Church, leading girl scout troops and selling local real estate. After moving to Poway, CA, for a few years with her husband, Gene, she returned to the North Shore to be closer to her family. She was an avid bridge player, loved a good book and a good laugh. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by two daughters, Jan E. Betts and Denise E. Gossage (Steve), and three grandchildren, Jennifer L. Czerwinski (Dan), Jason A. Betts (Chanda), and Frank W. Gossage. She was great-grandmother to Peter and Meghan Czerwinski and Aliyah and Olivia Betts. She was the aunt of Harvey Hayden (Jean), Murray Hayden and Peter Eldridge.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene P. Eldridge; grandson, Edwin T. Gossage; and two nephews, Scott Hayden and Douglas Hayden.
A Memorial Service for Donna will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at the Elliot Chapel, Westminster Place, Presbyterian Homes, 3200 Grant St., Evanston.
