Chuck, David, Michael and Chris, Sorry for the loss of your dad. While we haven't been that close these past few years, we have many fond memories of your mom and dad and kids as you were growing up. I especially remember the trip that your dad, Chuck, I and I believe David took to the boundary lakes in MN. He will be missed

Dear Dave, Chuck. Michael and Chris, Sorry to hear about your Dad. I never knew him, but i did meet him once at the house on Sayer. It was 20-some years ago……the night i picked up Dave, and we drove to O'Hare and i gave Dave a "tour" of the United Airlines hangar, where i work. At the house, i remember your dad showing me a turbine engine compressor blade (a souvenir courtesy of the USAF) and we talked about it… It seemed like he still had a passion for aviation. My condolences to all of you.

Dear Roberts Family, Thinking of "Denny" and remembering the past. The name "Denny Roberts" was always said with fondness in our house, his name will never be forgotten. It was such a pleasure to see him again at my father Elmer's funeral services this past July. It had been 30 years since I had seen him, but seemed as if we were still in the Skokie house. Through out all those years, Denny had been a most devout friend and Westinghouse buddy to Elmer. Thank you Denny, for all the everlasting love and friendship you have shown to Elmer and our family. He was always so happy to hear from you. With deepest sympathy and love, Donna Tessner-Aulisio

Denny was a long term friend of the Tessner family. Over the decades so much was shared with Denny. He worked with my Dad, Tess, and often came to the house in Skokie. He was a good loving individual and in Elmer's last years, he was diligent in visiting him at his residence in Hoffman Estates. I worked with Denny many times over the years at Westinghouse. I will miss Denny--we shared many good times together and he was very attentive to Elmer which was truly extraordinary. My most memorable time with him was when we had to clean the hatch at the Illinois Athletic Club on Michigan Ave. during the night. Dirty job but a one to remember always. The basement pool looked so inviting after we were finished and covered with dirt. We never dove in but the thought was there and we laughed about it. I remember after we had finished, the sun was not up yet, but as we were loading up in the alley, there was a bum going through the grease traps looking for a piece of meat to eat. You don't forget seeing things like that---how lucky and blessed we are. Bless you Dennis---miss you, Mike Tessner
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Many found memories of Dennis, Betty and the family; especially time when Denny would drive around Skokie in his "57" Chevy ( I think) Also many good memories while the boys were growing up. RIP in peace dear friend
