Beloved wife of David; devoted daughter of Lucinda, nee Bowman, and the late William; loving sister of Susan (Michael) May, Winifred (Jeffery) White, and William (Judith) Wieczorek; fond aunt of four; proud dog mom of Samantha Lee, Sabel, and Akeara.

Public Visitation , Wednesday, February 3, 2021, from 4 to 8 p.m., at HABEN Funeral Home & Crematory, 8057 Niles Center Rd., Skokie.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I haven’t seen Debra since we were both children. I had no idea so much family was in and around Lake County. I am extremely sorry for your loss.

Honored to have been her doctor for over 20 years. When I started as a resident doctor at Illinois Masonic I got to know Debbie when I was on call at the hospital one night and then became her resident physician for the next three years. When I left for private practice she said she would find me and a few years later she moved out of Chicago and up near my office and lo and behold, Debbie and I were back together! Been through a lot with her and Dave and I will miss her dearly. She helped me become the doctor I am today.
