I was a student of Mr. Dahmer in third grade at Messiah Lutheran School. I have the utmost respect and love for him as my teacher. He went out of his way to visit me when I was hospitalized for two months during the school year and he faithfully helped me keep up with my studies and homework so I could pass into the fourth grade with my class. I specifically remember the excitement when Lizabeth was born that very year. I loved her name and promised myself I would name my future daughter after her. (I did name my second daughter (E)lizabeth!) May the Lord's peace be with you all.

Liz, we didn’t know your dad had passed. We always brought his newspapers to the back door for him when we take walks. We are very sorry for your loss….

I was friends with Elinor and Conway via Church of Our Saviour, St. Peter’s and Atonement. We chatted and laughed through coffee hours, brunches at Stella’s and other eateries, and church galas. I loved them both as delightful, charming friends. Conway was such a kind gentleman. RIP Conway. My condolences to the family and friends.
