Veteran, U.S. Army, Vietnam War.
Beloved husband of Pamela Janas, née Ritt; loving father of the late Kirsten Fraus (James) Doyle; fond stepfather of Dr. Anthony (Holly) Janas, Kevin (Charlie) Janas, and Elizabeth (Matt) Scott; dear grandfather of Jimmy and Jeffrey Fraus, Lera and J.D. Doyle; cherished brother of Craig (Susan) Gieler; dear uncle of Kevin, Tina, and William; fond brother-in-law of Sandy and Norm Anderson, Joanne Spachner, and Richard and Elizabeth Ritt.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 1 p.m., at HABEN Funeral Home & Crematory, 8057 Niles Center Rd., Skokie.
