Rest in Peace Ben. You were a really great guy, and one of my really good friends ever since Elizabeth Meyer. You will be in all of our hearts and will be remembered forever. I will always cherish all the memories we've shared back in the day from when we were neighbors and used to hang out during elementary school. I'll always be keeping you in my thoughts. Fly high Ben.

None of us realize how deeply those around us impact our lives. I watched Ben grow from infancy into a caring, intelligent, handsome young man. From my perch across the street from his home, I witnessed his comings and goings, marveling all the while at his skills as a soccer player progressed, impressed by his closeness with his friends and obvious affection for his family. I will sorely miss knowing someone of such profound worth was so near. My heartfelt condolences to his family, and my sincere hope that you will shelter in each other’s love and move forward in this life with acceptance and with recognition of the gift you gave to this world.
