Belen Avelilla Javier, age 96, of Skokie, IL, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021, at Glenbrook Hospital, in Glenview, IL.

Beautiful daughter born to the late Gregorio Orullineda and Priscilla, née Traquina, Avelilla, on January 24, 1925, in Macalelon, Quezon, Philippines. She was the younger sister to the late Edilberto Avelilla.

Beloved wife of the late Lucio Bantigue Javier; loving mother to 8 children: Reynaldo (Mila) Javier, Rosalinda (the late Gallardo) Joaquino, the late Rolando Javier, Rebecca Reyes, the late Rosalia (Ramon) Villaruel, the late Rodolfo (Virginia) Javier, Romeo (Elizabeth) Javier, and Rosanna Concepcion; adored grandmother to 21: the late Ricardo Javier Sr., Rizalina Telen, Rowena Cucio, the late Reijiwei Javier, Romano Javier, Ruth Herrera, Ravinia Tagay, Peter Reyes, Reginald Villaruel, Ronald Villaruel, Rosemond Navarro, Rosebelle Enriquez, Rolando Javier, Rachelle Herrera, Remigia Jayme, Rod Javier, the late Richie Neyra, Richard Javier, Romeo Javier Jr., the late Roy Concepcion, and Ron Concepcion; dearly cherished great-grandmother to 49 and great-great-grandmother to 7.

Visitation, Friday, November 19, 2021, from 9 a.m. until time of Prayers, 10:45 a.m., at HABEN Funeral Home & Crematory, 8057 Niles Center Rd., Skokie.
