It’s been nearly a year since we heard the news, Ann. I think about you often and hope your family is doing well. Thank you for being such a good friend to my Mother. We all miss your laughter, kindness and smile. The world is truly a poorer place with you not here. Rest peacefully.

Sending continued love and prayers for my Uncle Mike, and my beautiful cousins- Meridith, Jena, and Megan. What I remember most about Aunt Ann is her sense of humor and how kind she always was. She had a quick wit, that I feel her daughters inherited. I have fond memories of our family visits , and know she will be missed dearly. Rest In Peace, Aunt Ann.

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family during this very difficult time. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Ann in person only a couple of times. But, I’ve heard several stories throughout the years of her witty, no-nonsense manner that never failed to make me smile. She’s a great woman that raised great children. I pray your peace.

We'll miss her and her kind words, gentle ways, wittiness and helpful manner. Our Shore contribution is on the way.

Mom I will miss you so much!!

One of my favorite family stories is about an incident that happened over sixty years ago. My sister Ann and I were playing with a bunch of neighborhood kids at the local park. I don't know what prompted it, but some of the kids started making fun of our older sister, Patty, who was developmentally disabled. They call Patty hurtful names and taunted both of us. We got mad and Ann stood up to those kids. Ann was strong, but we were outnumbered so we left the park. All the way home, we cried. We weren't crying because those kids at the park had hurt our feelings. Ann and I cried because those kids didn't know Patty like we did. They didn't know the loving soul we knew. I look back at that incident and remember how proud I was of Ann. She was fiercely loyal to her family and friends. That was a wonderful gift she shared with us over and over again. dan lloyd
