Albert R. Sanedrin, age 82, of Chicago, Illinois, USA, died December 7, 2021 at the Community First Medical Center, Chicago, IL, USA. A retired Research Analyst, he was born June 13, 1939, in the Philippines, to Alberto Rizal Sanedrin and Flocerfina Palisoc Sanedrin. Beloved husband of Naomi, née Go; dear father of Tricia and Allan (Gale); loving grandfather of Paige and Kyle; fond brother of Shirley (Bonifacio) San Pedro and Imelda Sanedrin and the late Linda (the late Angel) Averia, Josie (Romy) Ochoco, Edna Flor (the late Eduardo) Fernandez, Fred, Oscar, Jose, Ruby, and Jesus Sanedrin. Family and friends to meet for Funeral Mass, Thursday, December 9, 2021, at 9:30 a.m., at Sts. Peter & Lambert Catholic Parish (St. Peter Church), 8100 Niles Center Rd., Skokie [Please note: In compliance with CDC, State, and local COVID guidelines, face masks are mandatory indoors regardless of vaccination status.] Cremation private. You’ll be Missed Uncle Rizal..

Bert was a wonderful man and a dear brother-in-law. He was a very thoughtful person, ever since year after year he sends us Christmas greetings, and mostly shares his life experiences thru pictures, old pictures, family pictures, travel pictures, party pictures with friends. If they are on a trip or travels, he always sends postcards to friends and relatives, which means he's thinking of them. Some of my fond memories with him was when I joined in their travels abroad, when we were in Egypt, we had fun dressing up in a traditional galabeya for a dinner cruise in the river Nile, Bert and I enjoyed trying different beers of Argentina while on vacation in Buenos Aires and laughed at him when he dive into the Dead Sea in Israel and hurt his eyes by the salty water because he forgot not supposed to do that. He has a good sense of humor, a loving husband to my sister. I will dearly miss him.

My beloved cousin, whom I have called "Rizal" ever since our childhood, has gone to meet his Maker and to reunite with his family who had gone ahead. I will miss you dearly, dear Rizal. I hadn't seen you since I left our Homeland in 1963, but in this past decade or so, we had been in touch almost daily. I look forward to reunite with you when it comes time for me to meet our Maker. To Naomi, Shirley and Boning, to Lit and Tricia and to Allan and family, please accept my deepest condolence and prayers for courage and strength through this time of sadness and for the repose of Rizal's soul.
