Kathy and family, My condolences on your loss. Having known Alan since Roosevelt and at Prudential, I know what a great guy he was. We exchanged a few messages on the internet, but the virus got in the way of meeting up, much to my disappointment!Lew

I will miss Alan for the rest of my life. We were first cousins and lived together in the same building (4042 W. Arthington, Chicago) with Uncle George and Aunt Lillian, his parents, Milton and Sally, his sister Arlene, my parents, Harry and Rose, Aunt Ada, Uncle Morrie, Chucky and Judy, my sister Barbara, our grandfather Jacob Dolinsky and grandmother Anna (died in 1949). Alan was my older cousin. He guided me and spent time with me. He introduced me to pickled herring when I was four. He said it tasted like cookies. I still really like pickled herring. He also took me downtown on the El Train (before the Eisenhower was built). I remember going up to the observation deck on the Prudential Building (44 stories) right after it opened in 1956 or 57, So many memories. I will miss him more than I will ever know.
